My Time at Portia gameplay features elements inspired by the likes of Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and the Animal Crossing series while creating its own unique world set in the lush backdrop of what remains of an ancient civilization. my time at portia release date is set for January 2018! The team at Pathea has created an alpha demo which is free to download and includes 6-8 hours of game play. This is just a small taste of what we are looking to create for players who enter the land of Portia ! This game came about due to our love for simulation RPGs. Setting sail for Portia , a town on the edge of civilization, you’ll arrive to find a workshop left to you by your Pa – a place where you can begin to craft a new life, using the relics from the past to improve Portia.
Gather materials from Portia’s stunning open world: cut down trees, forage for herbs, mine in the ruins and even grow your own garden. There are many unique areas for you to explore including deserts, island, reefs, highlands, marshlands, mines and more! There are even two different types of dungeons including abandoned dungeons filled with important resources such as relics and ores for you to harvest or more hazardous dungeons where you’ll be able to encounter and battle monsters! The world at large is somewhat influenced by the likes of Castle in the Sky and Future Boy Conan. It’s got a dark background, an age after the apocalypse, but it’s a bright world, full of hope. There are enough bleak end of the world games out there already. We want this to be a family friendly game that anyone can play.
The storyline will be deep and open. The player can choose which missions and commissions to take. There will be a lot that happens during the player’s stay in Portia. Every event will deepen the player’s understanding of the world as well as the town folks around him/her. The theme of the story is that people can overcome any adversity when they work together.
We hope to give the player a truly memorable time in this game, of a warm and welcoming little town full of experiences.
