1This is a problem a few times in this game, but this case is probably the worst offender. So, there's tons of visuals showing we need to have a mini mushroom. Well, there's no mini mushroom in this stage, so you have to get one elsewhere. So you'd think the reward for this would be something big, like a secret exit to one of the hidden stages. At minimum it should be for one of the star coins. But what do we actually get? We get a slightly easier way to get a 1-up. For all that effort. That is just terrible design, and the difficulty of the challenge doesn't even come close to the "reward."
