It combines many features from the Civilization series with the personality focus and some rpg elements from Crusader Kings, mixing in enough new ideas that makes it something really special.
Released in 2020 into early access where it remains in 2021, it's heavily supported by the developers. Compared to the last time I played, it contains many new features, changes to systems and balance, and a lot more flavor. There's still some bugs, but it runs great and is super fun!
