Oni is a third person action game, developed by Bungie West and released in 2001.
I'm playing this as a casual LP to unwind and have a bit of fun without worrying about role-play choices and plot-changing decisions (even though this game does feature one of those). A game I first played near its release while I was at uni, it's nice to return to it and play it for your hopeful amusement.
It should be noted that, despite re-setting my save-game. I still had access to all the moves right from the get-go, as opposed to unlocking them throughout the game. However, it turns out this was quite the blessing, as the game is not as easy as I remembered!
While looking for a 16:9 mod, I stumbled upon a dedicated modding community for the game, and thought I would utilise it. Thus, I am using the "Anniversary Edition Seven" version of the game, which can be found here:

The program works as a utility to install optional mods from a list. I chose to install the following small changes to add things I thought the main game lacked and improve it for YouTube, but otherwise the game is pretty much vanilla.
-Dangerous Glass Shards - those hit by broken glass take damage from them.
-Dashing AI - allows AI/Enemies to "Dash" (I un-install this after the first mission, as I felt it might alter things a little too much in later levels were you are really intended to catch fleeing enemies).
-Domino Knockdowns - characters colliding with other characters will do damage.
-Glass Breaking Moves - makes colliding with glass break it.
-HD Screens - better menus.
-Jumpable Earthquaker - makes a change I liked the sound of to a boss attack. Makes it "jump-able", but has it do more damage
