Turns out Grubba was the one who had the Crystal Star all along! He's hooked it up to a huge device,which he uses to suck the life force out of other fighters to make himself young and stronger! Time to face off against Macho Grubba. He has 60 HP and an attack power of 4. One of his signature abilities is allowing himself to attack twice per turn! He can also increase his attack and defense,and increase his evasiveness. He's got some crazy attacks too. Try to keep lowering his attack and defense with Shrink/Soft Stomp if you can. If you can do that he's not nearly as scary. Jolene reveals that she was X all along. She became Grubba's manager to find her brother Prince Mush,who was once the champion here. Mario ends up getting the Crystal Star,and the Star gives Jolene her brother back! Happy endings,yay. Meanwhile,Princess Peach ends up disguising herself as an X-Naut, to find out what Grodus intends to do with her. Apparently he intends to conquer the world,but we had assumed that much. Bowser also ends up at the Great Tree in Boggly Woods,but he's too late to get the Crystal Star there of course.
