Grodus has awakened the Demon sleeping within the Palace of Shadow. The Shadow Queen then accepts Princess Peach as a vessel,and becomes possessed by it. You'll start by fighting the possessed Peach. She has 150 HP and 7 Attack. She has a bunch of various nasty attacks to unleash on you,so be careful. Once you deal about 60-100 damage to her,she'll assume her Shadow Queen form. You can't hurt her at all now,but you have to keep attacking to progress the fight. Heal when needed too. Fight until the next cutscene happens,after which Peach will use the last of her power and give it to Mario! Now we can hurt her! Try to keep her shadow hands in check whenever possible,they have an HP of 5. She can slap the bejesus out of you with them,and also absorb your HP with them! She can also charge up for a powerful attack,use Vivian to hide when she does. She has various breath attacks that inflict status effects,but if you have the Feeling Fine Badges equipped you can at least ignore some of them. Besides Bonetail this is the toughest boss of the game,and it can drag on a long time. But keep up the assault,and eventually she will be down for the count!
