Let's Play Pathfinder WotR - Core Difficulty - First Run Lich - PS5,ENG - Ch. 5 - Part 130 (v.1.05)
* PATCH 1.05 is live * PS5 uploads now (in 1080p60HD too)* (uncut uploads / timestamps below)
I will try to upload my full playthrough run if i dont get stucked behind bugs / errors / fails (I already encountered some bugs). In my past i finished Pathfinder Kingmaker on Core so i got some insights how the system works. Controls are hard to manage with the controller if you start your playthrough/crusade so be mindful of that aswell. Combat speed is set to 1.6 and i play on turn-based mode for now. Battle restarts are normal in those kind of games (especially in higher difficulties) because everything is decided by a dice. The PS5 version is worlds apart better than the PS4 version (performance/loading screens). Crashes seem to be less frequently too.
Content with timestamps (spoilerfree as possible):
drezen stroll (talk with everyone/sell stuff etc.) starts @ 00:00:14
zigurat dialogue (mythic quest stuff) starts @ 00:14:50
arueshalae companion quest (what do you dream of?) starts @ 00:31:33
lann companion quest intro starts @ 01:14:23
lich mythic quest (discord and disobedience) starts @ 01:26:27
ember companion quest (the blessed) intro start @ 01:37:08
regill companion quest (the final verdict) starts @ 01:47:01
ember companion quest (the blessed) starts @ 02:07:36
new mythic quest appeared after @ 02:37:02
sometimes a bug occurs (end turn pulls up quest menu)
Strategy/Thoughts/Goals/Achievements/Tips:
I'm trying to go the lawful evil route while also check every area for fights/loots and try to complete every quest i can in my first playthrough. 3 missed quests so far (sometimes your choices make it so you cant complete everything)
Ch.1: The level 9 succubus/defender's heart raid longest and jeslyn hardest fight.
Ch.2: level 16 spectre cleric (killed it in Ch. 3) as hardest encounter in this chapter.
Ch.3: dragon, blackwater, ivory sanctum bridge as hardest as of yet. Playful darkness
Ch.4: hepzamirah
Ch.5:
i occasionally encounter some bugs and sort my skills out for each companion before starting sessions for visibility (+ check books/spellbook)
Crusade mode tips:
Have a big army (recruit backup when you can) and only challenge demons atleast your fighting power (better below for less casualities). Mage general should be OP at start. Save after each successful crusade! Areas have to be cleared in crusade mode before main group can advance on the world map. Use Archer and Mage General skill to fast kill ranged units. Make a block around your archers else they get focussed by melee. Have atleast 2-3 generals in ch.3. to be spread out in your cities.
Kingdom management:
Archery, supply buildings first, then alchemy (maybe some towers, inn's). Teleportation circle in Drezen for instant port (also on outer corners of your kingdom area for instant port helps tons). I build some spellcaster produce building later in Ch. 3 too. Military stat is bottleneck for me.
...
My Planbuilds for this run:
- My main char will be a female half-elf sylvan sorceress on lawful evil alignment with a boar pet. (LICH mythic path as of now) *
- Camellia will be a Shaman (Spirit hunter) so she can debuff foes easily *
- Seelah will be a Paladin/Monk for tanking stuff and horse riding (she left the group)
- Wenduag will be a Warpriest(Cult Leader) (she died)
- Lann will be a Crusader/Monk *
- Woljif will be an Alchemist (Vivisectionist)
- Ember (Witch) almost same spells as MC/Camellia so helps when spells are out *
- Nenio (Wizard scroll merchant)
- Daeran (Oracle)
- Sosiel (Cleric)
- Regill as a Fighter *
- Greybor as a Slayer
- Arueshalae as a Ranger
- kestoglyr as a Skald *
* will be used in our current roster
