Back in the day, Pokemon was a really big craze, and hell, it still is today. But I was around when it first started, and my god, was it huge! Pokemon video games, trading cards, the anime television show, and thousands of Pokemon toys. Me personally, I was most excited about the video game, and played all 3 versions at the time (Red/Blue/Yellow) for hours and hours and hours on end every single day. It's a game that is near and dear to my heart and always will be, and I couldn't picture a better project to cover for my 50th project.

So here is the deal; I mentioned this in the video, both of these key points, and I really want to cover them again very briefly to give you guys an idea of what is going here.

1). I am not a Pokemon expert. I don't know what the best Pokemon are, I don't know how to build effective teams or movesets, I don't know where to find all of the items...I just play for fun, like I did when I was a young lad, and I expect that amount of respect when doing this Let's Play. I got really into competitve Pokemon battling a few years back, but got severely turned off by it for how people act in those scenarios. People take it way too seriously, and I don't think it's necessary to criticize players for how they play the game compared to them. There is no wrong way to play the game, if you get through it. I mean, back in the day, nobody got into Pokemon for the EV training (or whatever it's called), or calculating every single move/stat combination...just saying. I just wanted to mention that first, just because I am passionate about my playing style, not that competitive players aren't, but I just want to get my point of view out there.

2). This is a complete 150 Pokemon run, which means I am going to capture all of the Pokemon in the game. This will require trading between my Red and Yellow versions of the game (which I will implement into the LP in some form). I have a way I will be handling this, but don't worry, you are not going to see every single level-up of every single pokemon. I will show all evolutions, and captures though, for sure. I'm still technically in the planning stages, by the way, and things can still change in how I operate the recording and the footage I show, but I will show off what I mentioned in the aforementioned statement.

So yeah, that's really about it! I hope you guys enjoy this project! Really looking forward to it myself!

In this video, we get our starter Pokemon, battle our rival Eric, run an errand for Professor Oak, and catch some new pokemon!
