56I check out a tome chronicling the history of Ecruteak, but the story isn't quite full. If only there was some huge Pokénerd doing LPs on YouTube that might help fill the blanks... hmmm, but I guess such a knowledgeable man only exists in the recesses of our imaginations.
But really, the legendary dogs are among the Pokémon with the best chance of surviving a fire. Entei shouldn't feel much, Suicune could put it out, and if push came to shove, they could use their tremendous speed to help them escape. Instead, they die, and Ho-Oh goes against the principles of natural selection and revives them. Darwin would be proud... NOT.
