Die Route 3 führt den Spieler aller Generationen von Marmoria City zum Mondberg, in dem er dann in Pokémon Rote Edition und Blaue Edition, Gelb, Pokémon Feuerrote Edition und Blattgrüne Edition das erste Mal auf Team Rocket trifft. Vor dem Höhlenabenteuer kann man sich aber noch einmal im Pokémon-Center, welches in Pokémon Gold, Silber und Kristall fehlt, erholen. Diese Route kann man erst betreten, wenn man Rocko, den Arenaleiter von Marmoria City, besiegt hat.
