Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu "Nuzlocke Challenge".

NUZLOCKE RULES
Rule 1: Nickname all Pokémon.
Rule 2: You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in every new route.
Rule 3: If a Pokémon faints, you can no longer use it in the playthrough.

NIRTHLOCKE CHALLENGE
You may do 1 Catch Combo per new area and keep 1 Pokémon from the Combo. You have to do the Catch Combo by the time you leave the area to proceed, if not you lose the opportunity.

Mark all new Pokémon with a favorite and give them a nickname - it is only these Pokémon that are a part of the challenge.

Any shiny Pokémon seen in the wild can be caught and added to your favorite Pokémon. Shiny Pokémon do not count for the 1 Pokémon per Catch Combo.

If a Pokémon faints, it is out of the challenge and you have to untick the favorite mark.

If you have to catch Pokémon etc. to meet Gym requirements you need to give the experience from catching these to Pokémon that are not marked with a favorite. These are not a part of the challenge and can therefore be used for this - if you have not sent them to the Professor.

If you run into Pokémon other than your 1 Catch Combo, you have to run away.

KEEP IN MIND
Saving before you do a Catch Combo, in case you break it early and have to proceed is cheating. If you break it earlier than wanted - own it.

Don't trade Pokémon with others to gain an advantage. You may evolve your Pokémon like Machamp etc. but other than that you should consider how a trade impacts the challenge.

It is a challenge - it is supposed to be hard, but fun.

The favorite system is used so that you can actively tell which Pokémon are a part of the challenge, and which you cannot use to progress the story.

Shiny Pokémon are valuable in this challenge, and 1/2048 shiny Pokémon are worth looking for - so stack up on some lures. Catch Combo shinies also allows for more than 1 Pokémon added to your team per Catch Combo - as you don't count the shinies.

If you fail to make a Catch Combo when given the chance - then that's on you...
