Here are the nuzlocke rules:

1.You can only catch the 1st Pokemon you encounter in each area.
2. If your Pokemon faints it is considered dead and you have to release it.
3. The first pokemon you encounter in new routes is the only pokemon you can catch. If the pokemon faints, runs away or you run out of pokeballs, you can not catch another pokemon.
