In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Quasimorph (Early Access Release) with The "Unchained Belt" Update for the first time. Quasimorph is a turned based top down survival RPG similar to "Stone Shard", "Steam Marines", "Terminus: Zombie Survivors", "Wastelands", and "Fallout". Quasimorph has you in charge of the spaceship, HIS Magnum. You own a Private Military Company (sort of like a space mercenaries similar to MechWarrior, BattleTech, and Battle Brothers) taking on contracts for various factions and corporations. You can travel around the Solar System in this game for your missions. You own a bioprinter on your ship that allows you to print (clone) fighters that you send on missions to complete contracts. This is kind of like doing Dungeon Crawl runs. Equip your Fighter (sort of like Space Marines and Altered Carbon TV Show) with weapons and gears from your space ship's cargo hold (inventory), and send them on their mission via Landing Shuttle. The Character Inventory management reminds me of X-Com: UFO Defense. You can also craft items from your space ship as well if you have the resources/materials. You might want to consider taking food and medical supplies too, if you have some. On the mission, you control the fighter in exploring the map via turn based. When you move a tile, a turn is used. You can hit space bar to advance the turn. If you die on your mission, all your items that you brought with you are loss. You'll need to clone a new fighter to redo the mission. If you complete the mission, any looted items are yours to keep and brought back to the spacecraft for future use. The premise of the game reminds me of the tv show "The Expanse" and "Dark Matter". Uncover secrets and unravel the mystery of the Quasimorphosis. Some Space Zombies and Space Demon vibes going on here. The game is very hardcore and absolutely fun and addictive. I highly recommend it.
