In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Songs and Silence (Version 1.0 Full Release). This game is a turn based strategy, kingdom management, conquest adventure RPG with Real Time Auto Battle mechanics. Songs of Silence has a lot of ""Heroes of Might and Magic", 'Warlords", and "Songs of Conquest" vibes. This is a 4x Strategy Game (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate). Capture Cities and build them up to recruit an army to further expand. It is not a deck builder, but it does use Cards to represent Base Building Actions (City Upgrades), Unit Recruitments, and Combat Skills that you can use during Battle with a visual cool down (there is no draw pile or discard pile). Your Battle Group requires a Hero to lead the group. Heroes can gain experience from their battles. They also determine the size of your group (based on their level). Each of your cities can generate resources based on their prosperity level and upgrade status. You can heal your armies by stationing at a town that generates supplies for healing. Units can fully heal and rebuild missing combatants even. In this episode, I will be playing the first chapter of the Campaign. The mechanics are solid, the voice overs story telling are great, and the visuals are gorgeous. I highly recommend checking this game out.
