Raft diary log #214: I try to distract myself with building, putting my faith in walls and stairs, hoping to be safe... but it is a lie. At night, I can hear the ghosts of my lost nets calling to me, crying at my betrayal. I had failed them. And always, out of the corner of my eye, I see that dreaded fin slicing through the waters. I thought I killed it already?? Can it even die? Is it real?

I seem to be missing my stockpile of driftwood. Yet I'm alone on this raft... I am beginning to suspect my first mate, Mr. Quackers.
