Continuing on from the previous part, I battle some more monsters and finally obtain some insect skin!
With the item needed to complete Elena's request obtained, I head back to Fenith island to complete said request.
Along with finally completing Elena's request, I also talk to some other people at the inn.
But you know what? It was actually the insect jaw that I needed to give to Elena to complete the request!
So this whole time I've been looking for insect skin, I could have just completed this request a while ago by just giving her the insect jaw I already had! (Fail!)
But putting that fail aside, what do we get for completing this request? Some axe recipes!
Despite the fact that I haven't really used an axe yet in this game, one of the recipes will be very useful for leveling up smithing! (The recipe allows you to create the same axe over and over again as long as you have some scrap metal!)
After talking to everyone at the inn, and rambling on for a bit, I accept a request from Sierra to check out a location at sea that may or may not have an island buried below the waves.
With the day nearly over, I don't get to the island just yet.
Instead, I leave that for the next day and go to bed.
Waking up the next morning, I go about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island.
While doing just that, I get Elena's third friendship event, and Bismark's second friendship event.
How do these friendship events play out? Well Elena's one sees Elena in a bit of a slump, as she tells us that she's giving up on making a golem to fight us.
But then after getting annoyed at Aden, Elena is once again inspired to create a golem to kick our ass!
The scene ends with Elena's determination to create the ultimate golem restored.
And as for Bismark's second friendship event? Well he asks Aden to help him with his social skills.
While not too sure how to help out at first, Aden does end up agreeing to help him out.
The scene ends with Aden annoying Sonja by not telling her what he has in mind for helping Bismark.
Moving on from the friendship events, I finish talking to everyone else on the island, and then head out to sea to find the island Sierra told us about.
Eventually getting to the spot located on the map, I quickly backtrack to Fenith island to do some shopping!
But why? Well to avoid missing out on shopping if a monster happened to show up and kick my ass at sea, of course!
After doing some shopping, (I get a treasure chest appraised by Jocelyn, as well as buy the advanced oven from James.) I make some food, and then check on my crops and monsters.
After doing all of that, I finally get around to picking up the island from the ocean floor!
This island, summer island, is another island that we can grow crops on.
But much like how winter island was when we first found it, it'll take a while before we can actually use summer island to grow any crops!
So with not much to do with this island right now, I head back to Fenith island to talk to some people at the inn, and also complete Sierra's request.
And what do we get for completing the request? A tear pendant! (It's pretty decent!)
Moving on from that, I accept a request from Joe, and then head home.
After rearranging my inventory and making some weapons, I go to bed.
With the next day being the last day of summer, how will that day play out? Find out in the next part!
