There are a few small cellblocks on the topmost level of the Dungeon, which our party must enter in order to release the trapped souls of dead prisoners, who give us clues about what lies ahead as their thanks to us. (The small cellblocks also make cozy places to rest & heal between battles!) We find a group of Purple Worms guarding the last of 3 keys we'll need later to reach the Dreadlord, then later find a group of Fire Giants and Hell Hounds - fleeing past us AWAY from the exit. What could possibly so frighten big, strong Fire Giants?
