This seems to be where the American soldiers hang out. Who all speak broken English for some reason. I guess that makes sense, because in the localization, "English" is a stand-in for "Japanese" and stuff.
Still weird.
Also the bartender wants to sell alcohol to our supposedly still underage dudes. It's ANARCHY out here!

Shin Megami Tensei is a Japanese role playing game from 1992 that has been released on the Super Famicom system. A first person "blobber" style game, it's one of the earlier entries in a long running series that later spawned such internationally popular game things like the Persona or Digital Devil Saga series.
