It turns out the Devil attacking Mitula was Zalbard, a Greater Devil General looking to steal the Jewel of Evil for himself to present to Zeon.

The second half of this battle was a little harrowing, but I think we pulled through nicely. I get the feeling that level 8-10 is slightly underleveled for this area, but that might wind up remedied in the upcoming time frame...
