「Flent's Diary (3)」
I found an unopened envelope in the mailbox this morning. It was addressed to Administrator Adler, so I don't know who put it in my box. The letter didn't have a return address, but it bore the insignia of Eusan High Command. Usually those kinds of letters are for big change-of-command events like promotions or decommissions, so Adler may be getting bumped up the ladder for how well he's managed to keep Sierpinski running despite the sickness going around.
Adler seemed shaken when I gave him the letter - he probably hasn't really considered the possibility of getting off this rock. He asked for my designation too - if he thinks I can handle this kind of responsibility, maybe he's thinking about giving me a free ticket out of here too. Fingers crossed.
