That's the name of those mobile invincible piranha plants a reference to Hootie & the Blowfish, which I found amusing. They can be killed by Ice and Fire Melons as well as the Pow Block. The Pow Block killing them permanently (as with standard Mario Respawn mechanics collecting the enemies drop will make them not respawn). The will only get stunned by an egg throw.

Oh, in this episode lots of Piranha Plants.
