Let's Play Soma Part 5 - Getting To Lambda
Continuing on from the previous part, I redo the bit of the game where we talk to Catherine and find out what happened to the world.
Why? Well because it looks like the game didn't save after that scene for some reason!
Moving on from there, I walk around the bottom of the ocean in search of Lambda.
While casually walking at the bottom of the ocean, I encounter another audio/blackbox flashback of some past event, avoid a hostile robot patrolling the area, and save a friendly robot from some rocks.
This friendly robot actually helps us out by opening a locked door! (What a nice robot!)
Beyond this locked door, I find what looks to be a train of some sort.
In this area, I also find some further information on what happened to the world, as well as some more info on Amy.
Speaking of Amy! I somehow managed to completely miss encountering her in this section!
When I first played the game, I encountered her, barely alive, but linked up and kept alive by something against her wishes near a power switch.
But I must have found a way to power the train without going down the route where Amy was! Oh well!
With the train thing up and running, we get some information on the train thing and the places of Pathos II, (This seems to be the name for the whole collection of buildings.) and then make our way towards Lambda.
But of course, it didn't go so well!
With the train thing eventually crashing, I ever so slowly figure out how how to open the emergency door, and then walk the rest of the way to Lambda.
Due to the door at the end of the tunnel being locked, I had to walk the rest of the way at the bottom of the ocean. (We also get a brief call from Catherine, who tells us where to go.)
But with me arriving at Lambda by the end of this part, what will happen next? Will we be able to meet Catherine? Find out in the next part!
