Hello everyone!

First a bit of news. The Space Quest Historian recently held the Space Quest Olympics 2018, where I attended. Didn't go that well, just won one event, but it was really fun. We did it on our beloved Scott Murphy's birthday. The biggest reason for the olympics was to aid Scott, who due to expensive cancer treatments has it quite rough. The go-fund-me campaign for him has proceeded quite well. The whole experience sparked my SQ fire once again so I completed my recordings of Space Quest, the remake, and will publish all parts in the coming few weeks. And I will work hard on my special little project I've aimed to show this year...

And with that, let's have a look at the remake of Space Quest!

Even though it's bad history, I quite like it. In short, Ken Williams and Sierra developed the game without the Two Guys knowing, and showed it to Scott just before release. The biggest difference is the style (old style sci-fi), which Scott didn't like at all.

What makes the game really good is the excellent soundtrack, made by the master himself, Ken Allen. And now I just realized I haven't made any MT-32 Jukebox videos with music from this game, have to remedy that...

Anyways, let's join our favorite space janitor Roger Wilco, and enjoy this his first adventure again!
