The Khala, the psionic link connecting all Protoss who retain their nerve cords has been corrupted by the fallen Xel'Naga, Amon. Made to be his puppets and face their own brothers and sisters, and the rest of the races within the Koprulu Sector, the majority of the Protoss race has fallen.
Artanis, Hierarch, leader of the Daelaam, the unified Aiur and Nerazim Protoss has been freed from the Khala at great cost, the loss of the one who sought the prophecy to prevent Amon's victory has fallen.
Now forced to flee Aiur once more with the few Protoss not connected to the Khala, Artanis must look to gather allies and search for a way to defeat the one who has enslaved his race.
