After taking care of the Mist Monster, Riou, Jowy and the others finally reach Kyaro. Rina, Elie, and Bolgan decide to say their goodbyes and part company. Jowy then decides to head home and urges Riou to do the same.

Riou then decides to look around the village and finds he's not so welcome around here. A lot of people are really pissed at him and really make him feel unwelcome.
