Riou finds an old childhood friend in Mukumuku who decides to come along as he heads home to meet with his sister, Nanami. After an emotional reunion, they decide to head out to meet up with Jowy but instead are attacked by Captain Rowd and Highland soldiers.

They end up getting captured and locked up, along with Jowy, how appropriate. Riou & Jowy are then sentenced to execution by Captain Rowd. How are they gonna get outta this one?
