In the finale to the 7th Guest quest, we solve the puzzle on the door leading to the attic, which proves to be trivial at best. Then, we solve the final puzzle, the window puzzle, which proves to be more cryptic than difficult. Then we have our final confrontation with Stauf, which is resolved in a cutscene and makes no sense. Yay!
