This is a remake of my successful attempt of raiding Stonekeep with the added advantage of speed and smoothness. I have decided to switch things around a little and put the success part forward and follow that up with an exploration of the entirety of the Dungeon named Stonekeep.
In this video, we look for clues, which leads us to Hammerfell. Once there, further investigation leads us to Rihad, when finally, we connect all the dots to an endpoint found in Queen Blubamka in the castle of the city.
She offers us a deal, fetch an Elder Scroll from Stonekeep and kill Golthog the terrible and she'll let us know about the location of Fang Lair. While we never got around to finding, much less killing, the cowardly Golthog, we sure did fetch the parchment and got the location of Fang Lair in one short raid.
Being a Mage is quite the learning curve as we don't have remotely the same amount of protection that we had to as Warriors and our attacks are also weaker. But we have the advantage of amazingly powerful spells on our side which we can use to slay, confuse, or simply outsmart our enemies and make ends meet. A mage turns out to be quite the powerful class if leveraged just right. But for now, the most difficult part for me was getting used to the Magicka points system and using Spells instead of closing the distance to engage the monsters toe-to-toe as a warrior would. The splash damage (Area of Effect) from some spells also seems to be quite problematic for me at this point, especially with fire spells which look to kill me immediately as I cast them.
The next video will drop us off at a random point somewhere within Fang Lair. Stay tuned for more Elder Scrolls: Arena.
