As the title says, the British part of me takes over. Even though I am Welsh, I have forgotten how to do a Welsh accent.

Anyways, for today and tomorrow and Tuesday and Thursday of next week, (March 25, 26 and March 31, April 2) I'm going to Elementary Schools around my town and playing the Bari Sax. :D It's fun, except when your VERY first performance your sax decides to have a leak and not play notes right. I had a solo part in a 3-page song entitled, "Seussical The Musical." And I have a series of G notes followed but a triplet G to Bb. The first time I played it (I have it twice, separated by two bars of half notes.) It sounded like a choking duck. I managed to get it correct the second time, but the instrument was threatening to play a completely different set of notes from what it was supposed to.

The fun thing was, my teacher made each instrument section hold up their instrument individually, then play a note.

When I had to, I raised it high in the air triumphantly, and SO many little kids yelled out, "Oh my god..." Cuz of how large the thing is.

When I played my G note, it wavered a bit. Then my teacher told me to play the lowest note, which is the low A. After I managed a long loud sound for a bit, he said, "Okay. If you really want to sound like the BC Ferries, buy a Bari Sax." Everyone laughed at that.

When we finished, I walked out with the Bari Sax in its case in my right hand, the sun washing over my face. This random boy said out of no where, "Oh my god! That thing is GINORMOUS!" I laughed secretively as I kept walking behind our one and only Double-Bass player, Lauren. Funnily enough though, another random boy ran up behind us and said, quite loudly to Lauren, "THAT JAWS THING WAS FREAKING AWESOME!" We both laughed, because when our teacher told HER to play a note, she asked to play jaws. So she did.

So yeah, can't wait til tomorrow's performance. :D It's gonna be fun. (Actually, GETTING there won't be, since we have to walk all the way there.)

But yeah. I've figured out a fool-proof way of recording my Doom 3 LP. So it WILL be coming. Stay tuned for that folks.
