Let’s play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Linked Hero Game 27 — Journey to 100%
It is time to do a linked hero’s secret game with Data to truly 100% the Oracle games. To 100% the games, you must complete one of the games, then use the linked secret from the game beaten to start the other game. This allows you to defeat Ganon and get the Victory Ring, the 61st ring, and a hero’s secret. You then must use the hero’s secret to start a new file in the linked game you just defeated, defeat it again, to get a linked hero’s secret. From there you input that secret into the game you initially started in to do a linked hero’s game. This way you end up unlocking both Hero’s Caves, the bonus dungeons in each game that has a unique ring at the end, and all the secrets between each game.
Maverick did the first part, finishing Ages, then a linked game to Seasons, to end both games with 60 rings, all upgrades, but only the Oracle of Seasons secrets and Hero Cave complete. Data here is going to do a linked hero’s game. I already showed Data doing a non-linked play through of Seasons, but followed that up with two unrecorded play throughs: one a linked game to Ages to unlock the Victory Ring, and then a run through Seasons to get the linked hero’s secret that will allow him to go through a linked Ages game.
Thus, Data will start this game almost like a regular linked game, only he will also possess the Victory Ring.
Through this play through, you will get to see him unlock the Oracle of Ages secrets, complete the Oracle of Ages Hero cave, and end the file with all rings. I will also be showing off little things that could not be seen if just going for 100%, such as all the ways stages of development for Bipin and Blossom’s kid, and the way the overworld is affected by your choice of animal companion: Dimitri, Ricky, or Moosh. It is a lot to digest, but I hope you enjoy this final run through of these amazing games.
