Poking fun at the fact that the game glosses over the entire 'brain dead patient' thing aside, we have a liver so it's time for the infamous liver transplant. Connect the, IIRC, vein, portal vein, artery and bile duct and deal with whatever the liver is infected with. And it always is. Introducing Nous, as it will be named later. Treat the spores, and then go after the main body. The gimmick? The spores need to be treated in the order in which they appear, or all the spores you skipped will blow, along with vitals and your possible XS. You don't need to remove them, just cut them loose and they won't blow up if you go to the next spore. Go after the main body and all the spores left on the liver will go kaboom, and with 4 or 5 spores that will eat Emilio alive.
Fun fact: X-Nous spores deal 35 damage to vitals when they blow up, few things can match that in terms of damage without simply killing the patient outright. Although 3 to 6 spores will deal 105 to 210 damage to vitals respectively, so one could say that X-Nous has the medical board on speed dial. Of course the same could be said for all other X-GUILT...
