Let's Play Trials of Mana Episode 15: The ghost ship

Anyways this dungeon can be confusing to new players so I decided to just iron man it and get the whole thing done in one go.
Just a heads up you can never return to this area so make sure to explore thoroughly.
The first part requires you to break a curse to advance but in order to do that you'll need to put away 4 books listed on a slip of paper, they're the ones associated with darkness or sounding gruesome. But that alone does not open the door after that is finished you need go find the ships log back where you started.
With this the party member you were controlling will become taken by the curse so now you must continue with only 2 party members. Originally I thought it was your main protagonist that was taken but surprisingly nope.
After that is handled and done you reach the second half of the dungeon with only two party members. It's just a few battles and is relatively linear but very difficult without a healer.
Upon reaching the final stretch there is a save statue but not one that heals. Instead there are two beds at the end of the floor. The bottom one is a trap while the top heals you to full. Be a bit careful.
With that done we reach the big boss of Chapter 2 Gova. The corrupted spirit of darkness and his fight can be pretty difficult actually but once you win you are in the clear and the spirit of darkness is in your possession.
