Capturing bases is the key way to make the game easier. It gives you more military bases to stage missions from, more research bases to research faster and more engineering for faster production (We haven't done much production yet - we will). Most importantly, it increases the radius of our ability to expand and each base has a cache of weapons, ammo and armor.

It's the final part we really want at this phase in the game. And more soldiers to use them.
