Laura's corrupted soul has returned to Rusty Lake where she belongs. She sees a tree in the distance and we go toward it. The tree contains Rose Vanderboom, her past and future self become one. They wish for their daughter to live another life so they give their blossoms so that Laura's soul too may blossom. Laura is engulfed in blossoms swirling around her. Every stage of her life flashes before us and then regains her true self. The lake now belongs to her and she must go. She wants us, Harvey, to find our own future. She vanishes into the woods and we take the train to a destination unknown. The story ends here, but we're not finished yet. There's a couple more things to do.
