Continuing on from the previous part, I ignore a fishing pole, and run into Sans and Papyrus again.
Papyrus is shocked to finally see a human, and tells us to continue going forward if we dare.
Despite wanting to capture and turn us in so that he can become popular, it seems Papyrus has no idea what he is doing!
After the two skeleton brothers go on ahead, I get through a random encounter, and manage to avoid being detected by a dog that is surprised to be petted! (I must say, this game is pretty weird!)
Moving on from that, I once again run into Sans.
He gives us a clue on how to deal with attacks from his brother (And enemies in this area) based on the colour of the attack.
You have to stay still if the attack is blue.
Before heading forward to start the first of many challenges from Papyrus, I accept to take a part of a snowman with me.
Moving onto the challenge, Papyrus ends up showing us the exact path we have to take to get through the first puzzle.
With the first puzzle out of the way, I buy some ice cream-like thing from a vendor, and push a snowball into a hole on a little golf course. (I get 1g for doing that!)
Before heading to the next screen, I check out two dog houses.
This gives us some hints on an upcoming boss fight.
Moving onto the next puzzle, there isn't really much of a puzzle!
Despite being given a word puzzle to solve, we don't actually have to do anything with it!
Instead, we just have to solve an argument between the brothers over which is harder between word jumble and crosswords.
In order to get on Papyrus' good side, I pick the former of the two options.
This seems to make Papyrus happy, seeing us as smart for picking the same option as him. (Sans also seems to be thankful that we are making his brother happy by siding with him.)
Moving onto the next area, we are given some frozen spaghetti to distract us.
We can't actually do anything with it, so I move onto the next screen.
The next screen has a sign warning us about dog marriage.
This just sounds weird, but will come into play soon!
After solving a simple puzzle in order to find a hidden switch to disable some spikes blocking our way, I get passed the spikes. (I should also note that I get my first game over here from a random encounter!)
It is here where two dogs show up to battle us.
These dogs seem to be married, which I guess is a thing in the world of this game!
This boss battle is a bit of a difficulty spike!
I get a game over a number of times before eventually figuring out how to dodge their attacks and appease them.
With those two dogs leaving in complete confusion, I head to the next area.
The next puzzle Papyrus has for us is a simple puzzle where we have to stand on some symbols in order to lower some spikes.
Papyrus goes on to ask us about the spaghetti he made to trap us.
I go with the choice to say that I ate it, which seems to please him as nobody has ever eaten his cooking before.
