Let's Play Wandersong #34: The End... or a New Beginning?
82Despite all the odds, Lorn and Miriam managed to save the world and now, we're journeying back home and taking in the credits. Once those are done, we'll be grabbing the final dance I didn't get right at the start of the game and going back to the Crater so that we can experience the scene that I missed the first time around. After that, the game is... over. Their journey is done and what a journey it has been, folks. What a journey.
What can I say abou Wandersong? It started off on the right foot and kept being absolutely awesome from start to end. Not even the bugs, few that they were, could detract from the absolutely fantastic experience that playing Wandersong has been. The story, the characters, the graphics, gameplay and the music, oh the music. All of it was brilliant and carried me away to the wonderful world that Lorn, Miriam and everyone else inhabits. It's a spellbinding game that I can say is now of my favourites. If there was anything I would critique, it's that the screen liked to have a slight shakiness about it a little too often, but I barely noticed it when I was deeply engrossed in it.
Even though you've watched me play the whole thing, there are secrets yet to uncover and even without that, I encourage you to play this game. It's a heartwarning, outstanding journey from start to end.
So, what's next? For some, the next game is no secret, for it is the winner of the recent Patreon vote. All I will say about it is that it's the start of a long and epic series of games where we start off as nothing and will end up as a great hero the world will sing about for many ages to come... provided we don't do something dumb and die because of it.
