Yes, the game audio is loud again. I didn't figure it out until really far into this recording, and I think I need to turn it down slightly more. Oh well, this week's videos will all be recorded a bit loud - feel free to ask me what I'm saying.
Why RetroArch decided to increase volume on the game without me telling it to, I have no idea.
Anyway, this is a bit of a mixture of a LP and a LA video, as I'm just grinding a bit and decide to actually analyze how the Status Effect Personal Skills work. The beginning part might be of interest, but if you want to skip the Let's Analyze section, you can skip to 48:38.
For the LP feature, we go out and grind a bit (getting Tim up to level 50, which is very important) and fight an optional boss set (getting there starts at 55:00). That's it, nothing particularly special, so if you can't focus on how quiet I am compared to game audio, feel free to skip a lot or even the entire video.
So how do those Status Effect Personal Skills work, anyway?
I have no idea, but they definitely don't prevent status effects. They have SOME effect, but since they don't completely stop a status effect at maximum ranks and maximum luck (as luck definitely has an impact), they're... not all that useful.
