Let's Play Wildermyth (PC, Early Access) - #11: The Enduring War (3/3)
2In this episode of my blind Wildermyth (PC, Early Access) LP, I complete the remainder of the "Enduring War" campaign. Though, not without crossing a major hurdle. I ran this on the Martin difficulty setting.

The Chapter 4 assault on the arcanery was easily the hardest mission I've played in the game yet. It required 9 attempts to pull off successfully. A combination of weaker allies, enemies spawning both in front and behind the party on every turn, and durable Morthagi, made for a rather difficult time. In fact, the first-half was notably harder than the second-half. Had I known reaching the objective would teleport all my party members there, and despawn all enemies, I would rushed the objective harder.
In contrast, Chapter 5's final mission was several magnitudes easier. Not being forced to rush forward, allowed me to pick off the Morthagi at my own pace. Even the final room's foes weren't as deadly as the Grand Matron and their ranged attacks.
As I mentioned during the episode, this LP will now be part on hiatus until a new authored campaign or the game is released.
This was done during the evening livestreams on February 16th and 23rd, 2020. For this episode, I heavily edited down several of the sequences, particularly in Chapter 5.
