Unlike my previous series, you could consider this video not as a review, as Total Biscuit would say, but as my first impressions on Chimera Squad after four hours of playing this game and restarting the campaign from scratch. After eleven hours later, my thoughts are about the same as before, although my concerns on the game's challenge are elated shortly by the third episode. Despite the tonal whiplash, I am enjoying this game for what it is and not as the next step for XCOM, but there are some ideas I wouldn't mind keeping for the future despite whatever prejudices I may have for this game. However, we will not tolerate any goddamn Chryssalid in this squadron, you hear me? (Obviously, I'm being facetious; please let me make a necromancer Chryssalid in the future.)
Anyways, hope you enjoy this series of videos, and let this serve as what we'll do in the future when I return to XCOM: Enemy Within and Xenonauts as I believe this format will be much easier to put together as videos (as well as making them more watchable.)
