Welcome back to Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V where I finally figure out what the wording on Timegazer Magician means. The confusion arises from the wording of "activate". While I exclaim that it's ridiculous, that was kind of an "in the moment" reaction to me finding that out in the prior attempt at this duel. I thought "activate" meant using an effect while it actually means to play it outright in this case, meaning I can't even play Timegazer Magician unless I control no other monsters.

Anyway, it's time to get back to the Junior Arc League Tournament with a duel between Yuya and Sylvio. This duel looks to be a bit difficult as both Yuya and Sylvio can utilize Pendulum monsters and summoning. I do finally have a grip on how Pendulum summoning works and the strategies within (Timergazer's effect confusion not withstanding) but now that my opponent can also Pendulum summon, this might make things a bit tricky.
