Let's Quickplay MegaMan X4 PT3 - "Hadouken! Hadouken! Shoryuken!"
42In this episode, X receives a message from the Colonel! He wants to meet X at the Memorial Hall, so X heads out. Boss fight inbound!
The Colonel has two attacks. A set of swordbeams that he fires(high, low, high) and a warping slash where he disappears, then reappears to strike. Unlike Mavericks, the Colonel doesn't get stunned when hit with his weakness.
After that, it's on to two more Mavericks: Slash Beast and Magma Dragoon.
Slash Beast's stage is very linear like the train ride it is. There's lots of Metools, random Mavericks, beam cannons, a free Heart Tank, and the Blade Ride Armor! All sorts of fun awaits. Slash Beast can be quite difficult if you don't move around. He can create wind slashes, dive into you, and smash the wall by charging into it.
Magma Dragoon's stage features lots of fireballs and hot lava. Careful jumping is needed here for a lot of areas. In the second area, when you reach the Blade Ride Armor, jump up and dash right to reach a set of blocks. You need to charge a Twin Slasher here to destroy them, so come here when you have the arm parts of the Force Armor. Behind the blocks is the armor part of the Force Armor! This not only reduces the damage X takes, but also absorbs the damage he takes into a Giga Attack known as the Nova Strike. X jumps up and rams into an enemy, completely invincible. A powerful move.
Magma Dragoon is a fan of Street Fighter; he will employ kicks, flame breath, rain volcanic ash, and even use the Hadouken and Shoryuken attacks! Oh, Capcom, you crazy company, you... Taking the Blade Ride Armor in here makes this fight much easier.
