I played the original Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings a long time ago and I really liked it, so I thought it would be a great candidate for some videos. The HD edition works pretty well, so here we are~. For this series, I'm choosing to play the scenario "Joan of Arc" to completion. Do know that these are only based on historical events and are not completely accurate. For example, Guy Josselyne is fictional and is here purely for gameplay purposes. They needed a character to appear in the final scenario, but using a real person would be misleading as no one performed the role that Guy Josselyne does in this game.


Age of Empires II: HD Edition is a real-time strategy game published by Microsoft. The remake of the game was made by Hidden Path Entertainment and released on Steam on April 9, 2013. The original game, titled "Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings" was developed by Ensemble Studios and was released in September 1999. The first expansion titled "The Conquerors" was released in 2000.

The game was also ported to the PS2 by Konami and a spin-off, (that was actually quite a fun little version of the game), was developed by Backbone Entertainment in 2006 for the Nintendo DS.
