Lets remove a cam from a LS series engine, in this video I will be showing you how to remove your own cam and lifter's, if your new to the LS series engines or new to engine building then this step can be a little scary at first.

Pro Tip: don't force the cam out of the engine, pulling to hard can pull the bearing out with it.

The engine in this video is a 6.0 lq4 but the camshaft removal is the same for 4.8 and 5.3 and most LS series engines.
