Well, it took a bit of reloading but we finally pushed our way out of the Tilverton starting area. My theory is that games like this were the start of the trend away from the hyper lethal days of the early editions. Some people would call this a bad move, but in a lot of ways, the early editions are simply tedious and over complicated. The trend toward adopting more narrative mechanics is certainly something I agree with.
