Let's Take Excedrin Together - Trying Out MAGIA EXEDRA!!
6GUESS WHAT FINALLY RELEASED ON STEAM!!! I think I summoned it by asking for it during my P5X video... and I'm very happy to have done so xD Ever since this game was announced I've wanted to try it, and it only being on phones for the last while was agonizing. It looked neat, but I'm very afraid to be putting gacha games back on my phone for a few reasons (don't want to get addicted, and also want to save storage space). I also have gotten very used to Not recording videos on my phone so I was stubborn and decided to wait for the PC release, even if it took forever lol
I will say I had fun with what I played of this, but there are a few downsides to it - it's not Magia Record which is the biggest thing. I don't want to spoil all of my thoughts but I do enjoy the battling. Just not as much the story mode?
The one thing I will say up front is that this video features a... lack of music in certain places. Many places. It's a blessing and a curse that this game has a "streamer mode" for audio. It will certainly help this video not get blocked worldwide like some of my old Magia Record videos were... but at the cost of EERIE SILENCE in many parts of the game. I wanna apologize for that as it can be a bit awkward. There's really nothing I can do about it, and that is a big part of why I think I will play the story mode offline and only make gacha videos for this game going forward 😅
I did a few free pulls in the last half hour of the video which was nice - the game has given more free pulls one day at a time, which I have not recorded, but if I ever pull for a real banner y'all will probably get to see that :3
I think I like this game slightly more than P5X? Maybe? I haven't decided yet. They both have ups and downs, and I don't love either of them as much as I love their uh, predecessors? Idk if that is the right word. But like, Magia Record and Persona 5 are very special to me, and these new games are interesting but not scratching the itch perfectly. Persona 5 I can just replay, or play other mainline Persona games, but with Magia Record I can't play it anymore, so I think I might vibe a bit more with its replacement just because of that. Not sure if I'm explaining that properly.
Anyway, I'm rambling, but I hope you enjoy the video!! Writing this description has reminded me that I need to log in for my next free pull xD So I'm gonna go do that!
Also stay tuned, I want to try out Umamusume next 👀 🥕🐴 not sure when that will be since I'm kind of just going on vibes right now
