Here's my Let's Try of Cycle 28 (PC), a 2D arcade momentum-based space shooter, by Pill Bug Interactive. A key was provided by Pill Bug Interactive in order to do a video on this title.

In this title, we take on the role of flight lieutenant Olivia Bergen, who has been separated from her fleet, and stranded in the middle of space, among hordes of hostiles ships from a mysterious enemy faction. Worse still, she's trapped in a groundhog day time loop, repeating the same cycle's events over and over. In order to break through the loop and deduce the intentions of the enemy, she'll need to obtain upgrades, and survive longer and longer.

In short, this game has fast-paced momentum-based combat, unlockable upgrades, and an evolving story based upon player progress via setting new high scores and surviving longer. And boy, does the game get rather difficult during the latter waves.
