Got some time to play a bit of EVOLVE

This game has had some controversy regarding content and micro transactions.

Here is the first half hour of gameplay which covers the "tutorials" for monster and hunter.

I think gameplay is OK, if a bit tedious having to walk around hiding as the monster and getting lost tracking the monster as a hunter...

There needs to be a bit more...

A comprehensive story would be nice also. Having all this great material for a story and not using is shows they where just interested in getting the game out with hype and gain as much green as possible. Don't get me wrong I like money (don't we all) but why do developers think they can sell unfinished games and everyone would be happy?

Just like titanfall and destiny this game falls short, more of an expansion than a full game. why do developers think they should do this? sure the hype helps sell but next time around people will avoid that game maybe even not but it just on the fact they where tricked the first time. which is a shame since these games have much potential.

My recommendation on buying games is to wait for content to be out on YouTube check out the game, if you like what you see and getting feedback from others that may help know if you should buy the game.

Where is the SCIFI story ? where are the numerous modes?
at least titanfall had a lot of stages and was innovating FPS games. destiny was fun to play even with the lack of story there where other things to keep you hooked.

I believe we may need to wait for EVOLVE2 if they make it to see if they get it right. I hope they make it better, the game can be fun from time to time. they need a single player story mode and a bit more content does not hurt.

who knows maybe they fix this version with downloads and DLC but that's too bad since they are already so plagued with crappy DLC people are already looking away...

Overall a good game if you have people to play with.

Graphics are good, the game controlled well and runs smooth.

Still feels like it was unfinished game.
