The Threshold Kids is just.... so bad. So very bad. I keep trying to put in words just how terrible it is but there just seems to be no reaching a bottom to how much I hate the idea. Now... let me be clear. It is absolutely glorious worldbuilding and an extremely cool and creepy bit of lore. My hate is for the in-universe characters that decided that this..... THING was a good idea.
