LG showcased their new Passive 3D glasses with their Cinema 3D HDTVs. The Main thing to take not here is the New Passive Glasses are lighter and relatively inexpensive, yet still providing the same full 3D immersion as shutter glasses.

All 3D processing is done by the TV and all the glasses does is read the image out in 3D for you. LG hopes to sell the Glasses for $20, which is a far cry from the current prices of 3D eye-wear
