On the LG G3 there is an option for changing your email sync time so your phone checks for new emails more frequently. To change this click on the email tab, then click the top right option button and click settings and then your email account. Next scroll down to update schedule and from in here you can change the time. I would set it at 5 or 10 minutes to check for incoming emails.
